have you tried all of the usb slots on the motherboard?

if that doesn't work, leave the usb drive connected, boot into bios

You're looking for something like 'advanced bios features' or 'boot priority'

It should list 1st, 2nd, 3rd bootable device etc

Just need to make sure that the usb drive is listed first, then optical drive (if you have one), then HDD
  4. I did what you said and still hasn't showed up they are still the same order at the boot menu
    1-sata:pm-hitachi
    2-cd/DVD
    3-network

so if you select to change boot slot 1 sata:pm-hitachi it should allow you to change it to another device

when you do that, is the usb drive listed? might be displayed as 'removable storage' or 'removable drive'
  6. Now it worked... I went to bios security features and enabled removable device boot as well as choosing removable device as1 st bookable device. Thanks for help
