Strix 1060 O6G OC'ed vs 7600k OC'ed @ 4.5

Hello.
Thank you for taking time to read my thread.

As per title i'm wondering how good my pc performs after a bit of OC.
The most important thing is the temperature of the pc.

Case: NZXT S340 W
PSU : CORSAIR RM850x
MOBO : Asus z170 gaming pro aura
CPU : i5 7600k OC @ 4.5GHz (OC in BIOS)
GPU : STRIX 1060 O6G OC @ +100 to Core clock / +500 to memory clock
(OC using MSI afterburner as for some reason GPU tweak stopped working and could not OC more than 1939core clock and 8488 memory clock)
RAM : HyperX 16GB @ 2666Hz (2*8GB)
CPU COOLER : CM 212X
Case fans : Corsair SP120 2*IN/1*OUT

So, what i need to know is if tems im getting are safe.
Temps provided below are under stress tests and not gaming, when gaming temps are lower.
So when case is closed temps are :

- GPU up to 70c
- CPU up to 74c for miliseconds keeps stable between 65/70c

Now when i remove the side panel we talk :

- GPU up to 65c
- CPU up to 70c just like above and keeps stable 60/65c

Now the performance is :

Far Cry Primal : Ultra/Very High @ 94max 71min FPS
GTA 5 : Ultra/Very High @ 120max 70min FPS
ROTTR : Ultra @ 146max 60min 85 Average FPS
Dirt : Ultra @ stable 160 FPS sometimes more
Dirt 2 : Ultra @ 250 FPS
Mass Effect Andromeda : Very High/Ultra @ 80 FPS
AC Syndicate : Max @ 80FPS

I feel very comfortable in that range of FPS (considering my 144Hz monitor)
But would like to know your opinion as well.
Maybe it can be better.

Thank you again for all your time and knowledge.

You're temps seems to be pretty good. I wouldn't worry too much about them. If anything maybe get a water cooler for your cpu for the overclock. I have my i5-4690k overclocked with the same fan you have. It's been overclocked for 2 years now still running strong. The 10 series nvidias run really cool, it's amazing. Really makes vega look terrible.
    Enjoy your system.

  2. Your gpu I'd try to stay below 90 and cpu try to stay under 80.

  3. Yeah temps are fine. Good job. If you are satisfied that's all that matters.

Your temperature is awesome! You should start getting worry when you are at 85C and above. You can try to push your CPU to 4.6Ghz and see if you can maintain 80C and below on that $40 air cooler. If you can get 4.6Ghz @ <80C on CM 212X, than you are golden man. You can improve your CPU temperature more and more headroom overclock by getting dual 120mm or dual 140mm AIO like Corsair H105 or Corsair H110.
