Thinking of Upgrading Graphics Card

Hello, first time posting.

I'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card, my current graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 and I am considering upgrading to a RX 470 or maybe a 1050 T. My other specs are 8 G ram and a I5 4460 @ 3.20GHz. Is there going to be a significant improvement or will my CPU bottleneck the graphics card? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Thank you so much!

RX 470 performs better than GTX 1050 Ti , GT 740 is way underperfroming GPU , but none of these GPUs are going to be bottlenecked by I5 4460 , still consider as a decent CPU, My recommendation will be with RX 470 it leads GTX 1050 Ti in every benchmarks and perfromance related tasks .

IF, u can find it at a good price, anything beyond 1050ti seems unstable right now
even the 1050ti got affected, though not as bad as the higher GPUs

    as for @OP:
you will see some significant improvement with this GPU upgrade: http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti-vs-Nvidia-GeForce-GT-740/3649vsm13294
as about bottleneck, no, Haswell's CPU are still pretty decent these days, so most likely your GPU is going to be the one holding u back
