More about 7700k overclock safe
  1. Yes that should be fine. I would be worried around the 80-85 mark. I believe that CPU doesn't throttle until around 85-90.

I would for sure get a better cooler and keep that thing cooler just for longevity sake.

  2. Those numbers are extraordinarily low.... especially given the cooler being used.

Are they good temps... yes there's nothing to worry about when running these apps / games but what about when ya run something that puts on more serious loadings ? What about something with AVX or other modern instruction sets ?

I would suggest running a standardized application based benchmark which can be compared to a large number of user tests, Using HWiNFo to monitor temps and voltages in each core and run RoG Real Bench

When you open Real Bench, move both windows to left side of screen. Open HWiNFO64, run "sensors only" and keep this on right side ... you'll see why when you start RB opens lotta windows on left side. Run the 8 minute benchmark noting max temps / voltages on each core during the test. If ya can stay in mid to high 70s ya golden.
