  1. Clock speed for your processor is determined by the the system base clock x the CPU clock multiplier. Voltage adjustment is only done to improve stability if needed. You need to go into BIOS and find the CPU clock multiplier setting and increase it one click at a time checking for temp and stability between increase. Be sure to disable turbo mode before OC'ing or you may get unstable results.

I would not attempt to increase core voltage with that board. It isn't designed for OC'ing and has no heat sinks on the VRMs. Btw, turbo mode for that CPU is already 4.1GHz.

Why do you think you need to increase the clock speed? Gaming? If so, what gfx card do you have? And PSU?

Processing speed is not what I thought it'd be. I do a lot of gaming and rending videos as well.
I have the radeon rx 480 and I believe my PSU is 430w maybe 500.

Would it be safe to overclock at all? Also I plan on adding a few more fans or a water cool, would you mind checking those temps? They all seems "safe" but a little higher than I feel comfortable with.

  3. If you plan to OC the FX-6300, you will definitely need a better cooler than the stock cooler. You won't get very far before the temps get beyond the safe zone.
Safe max temp for the FX-6300 is 70.5C. An occasional spike about that is acceptable, but you don't want to run it continuously above that temp.
