How much can I overclock?

System Specs:
AMD A10-7870K
Radeon 2x4GB Performance DDR3
Asus Strix RX 470 8GB
Asus A88XM-A USB3.1
2x 2TB Seagate SSHD
2x Asus BC-12B1ST BDROMs
Rosewill Z1 Fan Controller
Asus DG Sound Card
Rosewill Arc 450
Windows 10 Pro 64Bit

I was hoping to overclock My RAM to 1866MHz from 1600Mhz which I know I can definitely do but how much can I overclock My GPU and CPU safely if at all with the 450w 80+ Bronze PSU I have? I might upgrade to a 500w but if I could get away with 4.3/4.4GHz (up from 3.9/4.1 turbo) on the CPU and 1350MHz (up from 1250MHz) I will stick with what I have. Thanks in advance for any answers! :D

More about overclock
  1. for ram you are not gonna see any difference from 1600- 1866Mhz
and for CPU overclocking you should monitor your CPU tempratures if they are less then 70'-80'c Under full load till 4.4Ghz then you are good to go

So far I haven't seen My cpu/gpu temps go above 40 degrees celsius in any situation but do you think My PSU can handle the extra voltage?

if PSU wont handle the more voltage then the system will shutdown but overclocking dont need that much voltage

  4. Sorry it's taken Me a minute to return to this post but My CPU sits comfortably at 1.475v for 4.2Ghz and was wondering how high should I set the voltage to achieve 4.4 or 4.5GHz? I really don't want to fry My cpu or waste energy. Cooling is good in My PC so I'm not worried about that. Also when I try to overclock My RX470 anything above what the Gamng or OC Presets are, it seems to severly underclock itself upon pressing apply in the ASUS GPU Tweak II App... Any suggestions why this is happening?
