Z270 Intel 750 PCIe SSD and 1080 Ti GPU

I got a good budget to upgrade my 5 year old PC and I am shooting for the new I7 7700k with a MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon mobo.
I will also put a MSI 1080 Ti GPU and would like to use an Intel 750 PCIe SSD.

What I would like to know is if this combination will force the GPU to run at x8 speed?
I remember that on one of my older builds, sharing a PCIe would bring my GPU to a lower speed.

A single graphics card gets 16 lanes, there are still a few lanes left for X4 to be allocated to NVME drives...
