ryzen 5 1600x temp issues

Ryzen master, hwinfo and motherboard show different temp, which one is more correct? The fans became loud when go to windows, but in bios the fans are not loud (using smart fan feature to control fan speed by temp)

  1. Remember the X versions can display temps upto 20c higher. What cooler are you using? Bios and new versions of Ryzen master should show the cirrect temps. Other programs like hwinfo on the other hand doesnt.

  2. I don't know the brand, but it's kinda cheap, i know it's not too good, but for right now i can't buy another cooler. The problem is, i already set fan speed in bios, but it seems like not working when i boot windows

Ryzen Master (the most recent versions since May?) should be showing the correct temp (which should be the temp that is 20C lower). The 1x00X chips have a temp that is shown as 20C higher in certain programs. There was an early version of Ryzen Master that didn't show the correct temp.

  5. My ryzen master already the newest version, so it will show the right temp?
Another strange thing is, when idle the temps at around 45-50C, but when i play game, the temps didn't go above 60C, is that normal?

Ryzen doesnt throttle till 95.1c so long as its below 90c and ideally 80~85c your fine. Sounds like you have a good bit of overclocking room.
