what is the minimum storage size i need for a windows 10 boot drive (ssd)

I am building my first computer and already have a 1tb hdd chosen but I want an ssd for my boot drive. I don't want to spend to much money on the ssd so I am wondering what the minimum size I need for the windows 10 boot drive.

What qualifies as "too much money"?

Nothing smaller than a 120GB drive.
Preferably, and with todays prices, a 250GB drive.

    about 70 dollars
  3. absolute bare minimum would be a 60 GB drive, but I would never recommend going below a 120 GB drive.

    That's pretty slim.
Up your drive budget by $20:

What are all the rest of the parts in this PC?
Maybe you can shave some $$ off elsewhere.
