How to remove write protected from Pendrive

last time when i was copying files to my Sandisk pendrive, suddenly it stopped working. then again i tried to copy and it say that my pendrive is write protected, i don't know exactly what happened. I tried everything to remove the write protection from my pendrive using CMD and regedit but it say the same thing. Pls help me....:(

    It is possible to set registry entries to stop USB devices working, this is often done on company PC's to stop data theft

    So try other USB device on PC with problem and Sandisk USB on another PC before concluding it is a faulty Sandisk USB


    If it is a Genuine Sandisk USB memory stick then Sandisk my be able to supply software to fix problem or replace it under warantee.

    If it is a fake you are on your own.

    You should be able to copy files off even if you can no longer format or write to it

    I have tired the same Sandisk USB on other PC's too but it's not working. Don't i have any other ways to get the USB work?

  4. Copy your files off that drive, then get a new one. Your drive is damaged.
