Cpu cooler for x299 setup

Which big air coolers might have the fewest issues with ram clearance for said quad-channel setup? Or is it too soon to say for sure? I plan to avoid ram with tall heatspreaders to begin with.

More about cpu cooler x299 setup
  1. Cryorig H5 Universal, $46.99 on Newegg, no RAM interference, quiet and performs with the best air coolers out there for half the price.
When buying an x299 board take into account connections, quite a few have been rushed due to Intel's panicked reaction to Threadripper.

When you say 'connections', would that be something like doa ram slots, faulty fan connectors, etc?

Before, I tried using this site's article to narrow down my options, but when the topic of ram clearance came up, it wasn't specified whether the issue would be with either dual or quad channel.

  5. By connections I mean rear i/o and ports, some don't even have Thunderbolt 3.

    Wut. That is pretty sad.
Well, looks like you've saved me ~$40. The initial plan was to get a NH-D15. But I was concerned whether I'd be able to use all the fans that come with it - you know, spend $$$ on something, only to find that you can't use all the functions/features available? It would've bugged the hell out of me to get that and not be able to attach all three fans.
