Ryzen 1700: MSI b350 gaming pro vs Asus x370 Pro

Hi
I am ordering components for my new build based on Ryzen 7 1700 for photo & video editing.

At the beginning I chose the Asus b350-plus (98 euro) as MoBo but after watching a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGrxhf_xZWI ) I switched to the MSI B350 Gaming Pro Carbon (132 euro) as allegedly has better components (and also a type C port in the back).
Now the Asus X370-pro is just 15 euro more than MSI and was wondering if it makes more sense to get that instead. I am aware of the difference between chipsets and that I do not need the x370 (i will do overclock but not crazy stuff), it is just a question of better components.
What do you think ?
Thanks!

Yup ive seen that video too, everyone keeps saying MSI have the worst VRMs, but they need to watch that video.

Its up to you, but from experience, and I only brought an X370 to prove a point, the only thing X370 brings to the table is SLi, My MSI B350m and MSI X370 overclock and run my ram at full speed and my 1700 at 3.9ghz with the same voltage, exactly the same, the only difference is the VRMs on my B350 get 10oC hotter under full stress, but thats because theres half of whats on my X370.

That B350 Gaming Pro Carbon board on the other hand has enough VRMs and Chokes to keep up with any X370 motherboard, dont waste your money.

  2. thanks, I will go with the MSI B350 Gaming Pro Carbon and save these 15 euro. Also I noted that in the Asus X370 the Type-C connector is on the USB 3.0 rather than 3.1
