PC Randomly shuts off after minutes and hours of opening

Greetings people! I'm kinda new here and i really need some help right now. For the past few days my PC kept shutting off randomly during games and while just scanning the internet. Due to this, i thoroughly cleaned my PC as if it would make everything better. Sadly after spending some time with my computer, the problem is still present. Also, i haven't experienced any temperature problem for my cpu is around 35-45C and gpu is around 46C and 75C when overloaded.

My Specs:
CPU: Intel i5-4690
CPU COOLER: Cryorig H7
GPU: Galax GTX1060 6gb
MOBO: Asus Sabertooth Z97
RAM: DDR3 8GB HyperX Fury
PSU: Corsair VS550
FANS:2x120mm Fans, 1x140mm fan
HDD: WD Blue 500gb

(I suspect that my Power Supply is not enough for my build though i really need answers before replacing any parts of my rig.)

If no bsod's involved is it most times the psu that makes this happen. Looking at the low quality psu you have is it the most likely suspect yes.

  2. My guess also goes to the Psu. Try another Psu if you have the chance.

I have this rig for a few months now, and this problem only occurred now.

  4. Like any mechanical part do psu's also suffer from "wear and tear", since such a lower quality one even more so. I in first place still think it's the psu.

Thanks for the answer! I recently tested my rig with another PSU (from a friend) and indeed the problem is the PSU. It hasn't randomly shuts off when i played demanding video games or just browsing the net for some hours. At least i didn't spend any money on this PSU since it's a old one so i guess it's high time for me to replace it.
