Will my pc be able to handle the GTX 1060?

Hello, I was wondering will this pc be able to use the GTX 1060 without a lot of upgrading of parts (from reading, I think I only need to upgrade the PSU?)

CPU - Intel Core i5-4460 3.2 GHz
Ram - DD3 6GB
WD Blue 1TB
Motherboard - Asus K30AD_M31AD_M51AD
PSU -300W http://www.acbel.com/eng/Product.aspx?id=79&&sd=31&&pid...

Is there also a huge impact from which model I would get from the GTX 1060?

And the parts that I need to change to be on budget!

Thanks in advance ;)

  1. Is this a prebuild?
    Make sure your bios actually supports changing the GPU.

    Other than that:
    You gotta change the PSU.
    If you got some spare budget some ram would be nice as well

    Change that acbel 300W PSU to a Corsair CX450M or Seasonic M12II-520 EVO at least (if you are on a tight budget).

    If you have enough funds to spare and to take into account better warranty (longetivity) and future upgrades, get a good-quality 550W, such as the Seasonic G-550, EVGA SuperNova G2 550, EVGA SuperNova G3 550, Corsair TX550M, or Corsair RM550x (costs more than the first two but top of the line units).

    The GTX 1060 is a top-of-the-line GPU for 1080p/~60Hz gaming. Selecting from different models would just more or less revolve around these factors: looks, size, noise, cooling, and power consumption (PCIe connectors). Performance-wise (i.e., FPS in games) comparing a GTX 1060 model to another GTX 1060 model is not huge, it is often recommended you get the cheapest you can afford (considering the previously mentioned factors).

    Pretty solid options there. The RM550x is extremely quiet and I'm not sure if the fan would even start on your planned system. Would probably run at low RPM at full gaming load, practically inaudible anyway.

  4. Upgrade the psu. Take BeQuiet silver 400w or 500w (better) silver rated one. It is 50 usd.
