First build won't give input to the monitor and gives error code 55 (no ram installed). Please help me out.

Hi, I'm Matt.
I just built this rig below.

I have an i7-7700k z270 processor.
I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM fan for my processor.
I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FOUNDERS EDITION GAMING, 11GB GDDR5X, LED, DX12 OSD.
I have an ASUS PG279 monitor. (RoG)
I have an EVGA supernova 1000 g2 power source.
I have an old DVD optical drive from my old computer. I don't see the reason in buying a new one since it works fine.
I have a Samsung 850 EVO-Series 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive.
I have an ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard.
The motherboard supports 64Gbs of RAM.
I installed ripjaws 5 ram into it. Specs are ddr4-3200 pc4-25600 16*2 F4-3200C16D-32GVK
My ASUS pg279 monitor is not receiving input from the motherboard.
I've tried hdmi and DP from the onboard graphics and I've tried both form my graphics card and I still get no input from the motherboard.
The only things I have connected to the motherboard and the 24 pin power supply, the 8 pin power supply and the monitor, now plugged into the onboard hdmi slot.
The monitor will display no hdmi input and the motherboard gives the error code 55.
I've tried installing just one stick in each of the channels and nothing but the same error code 55.
I don't know what I can do from here.
Please help me if you can.
Thanks, Matt.

    Try loosening the CPU cooler.

Sometimes this can be caused by Motherboard Flex. However, sometimes the board is toast.

If that doesn't work check the CPU socket for bent pins and re-seat the CPU.

If all that fails to do anything you'll need to RMA the Motherboard.

Thanks a lot. I'll do that.
  3. I'm just going to send the motherboard back.
I thank you for your help.
  4. G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB)

    G. Skill does not guarantee compatibility when using multiple kits. Do not mix up the modules as only modules in a single kit have been tested and are guaranteed.
