Will my intel i5 5200u handle a gtx 1080ti or similar?

I have an Alienware 13 r2 laptop that has a i5 5200u CPU in it. I was planing on buying the graphics amplifier for it. I could buy the GTX 1080ti but I think it wont be used to its full potential, maybe my computer cant even handle it. Does anyone know or can recomend a better graphics card (that fits the CPU better)

  1. Nah I would save up for a laptop with a better CPU, that CPU would pair well with an RX 480 at best and at that point buying the dock is a waste of money.

A 1060 as well, but even that would be held back. really, it is not worth it. that is a very low end CPU, the money spent on the external graphics would only make sense if you planed to get a new laptop anyway, and then I would say get one with a good GPU already in it.
