Crossfire and sli confusion

Why does my motherboard support crossfire when its an intel chipset motherboard? my motherboard : https://pcpartpicker.com/product/KvvZxr/msi-z270-a-pro-atx-lga1151-motherboard-z270-a-pro
I wrote this as i'm a bit confused with crossfire and its relationship to intel chipset boards I'm not very familiar with crossfire and AMD in general and i have quite a lot of questions when it comes to this subject :
why does it support crossfire
Do different type of gtx 1070's support crossfire ? i want to know this as i might be looking into getting a second gpu i the future.
I have the Corsair cs650m PSU and i am also wondering if it supports multiple gpu's as the connectors on the back of the PSU is pretty limited
if someone could also tell me what ram speed it supports it will also be very helpful :D
not oc ram

Sorry i am asking such stupid questions; i wasn't confused earlier but then read a few forums on crossfire and different compatibilities when it comes to crossfire and gpu's in general and it got me a bit confused.
Thank you for helping :D

still a bit confused aboutgpu's though; can nvidia gpu's such as the 1070 support crossfire?

  3. The 1070 will only support SLI, crossfire only works for AMD GPU's.

  4. SLI uses a SLI bridge which is kind of a wired connection between two or more Nvidia cards. CrossFire use the PCIe slots to make communication between Radeon cards, earlier they used CrossFire bridges but now they dont. the two technologies are proprietary and cannot be used interchangeably.

Why not? What kind of sense it would be for Intel to make motherboard that does not support AMD graphic cards technology?

Nope, only AMD cards support CrossFire

According to tech specs, this PSU has 4 6+2 pin plugs, easy enough for any two cards.

    not oc ram

No OC would depend on CPU: 2133 MHz for SkyLake, 2400 MHz for KabyLake
