DVI-D to VGA Convertor

Guys , I have a GTX 1060 and it has a DVI-D port and my monitor is 1080p VGA port monitor , so I use a DVI-D to VGA convertor like the one in the link , will it be good enough?

  1. No, you would need an active DVI-D to VGA adapter. Look for one that specifically states it is an active adapter.
    An active HDMI to VGA or active Displayport to VGA will also work.

    EDIT : Or as SkyNetRising said, use a DVI-D cable.

    Your monitor has DVI-D input also. Use that with DVI-D cable and no adapters necessary.
