Another question. Sorry.

I've been offered this for my MsI gaming laptop.

What do you think of it? For modern gaming? And how long will it last?

Cheers.

In terms of longevity I would take the Desktop as they can be upgraded in the future to an extent and components can be replaced easier than that of a laptop. However it depends on the spec of your laptop on whether it's a good deal or not. My advice would be check out the Sys reqs for the games you want to play. Most however would be able to run easy on the spec of that machine. Running AAA+ titles on max might be a push but it should be fine.

  2. even though it is classed as brand new .. it is second hand . if they are willing to swap this for a laptop.. then ask yourself the question of why is the reason for selling it "Computer is practically brand new - loaded it all up, played games for a few hours and realised I wasn't actually that bothered about owning it and would prefer to have the money in my savings!"
