Factory reset a Windows 10 + Ubuntu 16.04 Laptop

My computer is running a dual boot of Windows 10 (it was an 8.1 and at some point in time the previous owner upgraded to 10) & Ubuntu 16.04. I want to uninstall the ubuntu while preserving the Windows 10 license information with minimal effort on my side. I have read an article, which pretty much describes what I want to do - (https://www.howtogeek.com/141818/how-to-uninstall-a-linux-dual-boot-system-from-your-computer/).

My question is - if I remove the ubuntu partitions and then initiate the Win 10's factory reset option, will that be enough? Or do I have to do the things, described in the article and only then, after ensuring normal Windows boot, initiate the factory reset?
