Fps running low on a 1080 ti gaming x

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this whole forum thing do please bare with me.
I have a brand new rig I have just done with a z270x gaming 5 motherboard a i7 7700k oc to 4.8 and a gtx 1080 ti gaming x card. I currently have a 1080 p monitor for the moment!
I've noticed compared to other people's benchmarks on games such as tom Clancy's wildlands they get around 70-80 fps on average where I'm getting 50-55 fps I have tried reinstalling the graphics card and wiping windows but still nothing. I have had a look high and low for answers but just can't find any!!
Please help!

Edit-i have also been monitoring temps and they seem to be 100% fine!

one day you will learn to take things like that with a grain of salt

try this bench firestrike and the these I show are the default 1080p runs [use the advanced search to choose others if needed ] going by what some guy says on any game like your looking at may be manipulated or not so true or just some blabber mouthing he posted [opinion]

Number of GPUs = ''1'' - I used a non ''K '' cpu to eliminate cpu overclocking from affecting the scores to show more to GPU

Number of GPUs = ''1'' with your K cpu and all overclocking involved

with that your set upp should be in the ball part matching clocks to your clocks in the list of results ''Show only valid results''

try that out and good luck
  2. Junkeymonkey i just did a 3d mark test and only scored 15073 the same spec pc when comparing scored 21140.
What does this mean for me??

if that's from friestrilk default 1080p run scores it seems even the lowest non k at stock physics score is quite a bit better Physics Score 12 732

with out any overclocking on your 7700k you should be at least that

    20th place non k 7700 Graphics Score 28 723 @ 1987mhz core clock ???

I make sure nothing is running your cpu in the background or your overclock / temps is not stable and throttling , heck my puny non k 4670 Physics Score 7 643 is as good as your 7700k

I'd try to set the CPU back to stock and re run to see if that physics score improves or stays the same ??

like here I used hwinfo64 when I run the test / bench so I can see a few things when done
