Does the Gigabyte H110M S2H support the intel core i7 7700k?

I recently bought this new motherboard for my new pc build and im wondering if it's compatible with the new intel core i7's.

Anyway if this motherboard is not compatible could I have some cheap recommendations?

  1. Not unless you update the BIOS

But you'll have to buy / borrow a Skylake CPU to do it

If you want a Kaby Lake CPU buy a B250 / Z270 mobo

It'll be more compatible. You would have to go to the Asrock site and see what BIOS it needs

this might sound stupid but what is a BIOS?
  5. Without it its a doorstop.
  6. Search for BIOS in Google
  7. You should be getting non overclocking cpu for the B250M Motherboard.
