  3. What is the model number. also check networking screen, if you can see it, you should be able to go into properties and see the MAC address from there.

  5. Is the base ethernet mac address the same as the physical mac address?

Also I would use the arp -a command if I knew the ip address of the AP and that would bring it up wouldnt it?

  6. This device has a variation of the fairly standard cisco IOS commands. Your best bet is type SHOW and see what options you have.

I hope you realize this device requires that you have a expensive cisco controller to configure it. It is designed to auto register with that controller and then you use that controller to do anything you want to the AP.

I don't need to configure it I just need the mac address.

I think I need to explain in more detail, I work for an electronics company, and one of the electronic engineers has taken two of these access points out of their case to put into a new unit, but before doing this he forgot to write the mac address down that was on the box. So now we do not know which AP mac is assigned to which one.

I just need the commands once I plug one of these AP's into the console while using tera term to get the mac address for it.?

If it can't be done then fair enough I just though somebody on here might know a few commands to try?
