Do you think this is a good pc build?

So I'm making a black/white gaming pc.. I just wanted to ask some people on TomsHardware to see if they like it.. I want to play newer games on highest settings on a 1080p 144hz monitor. It should be able to do that, I might do some slight recording/streaming but nothing that my cpu can't handle, otherwise I'd try to get the i7 7700k but I don't need that since I won't be editing a lot, recording/streaming a lot and I just won't do that many productive things that would be too intense for the i5 7600k. Anyway heres the build, tell me if you like it, tell me if you own/like any of the parts and if you do own any then tell me how your experiences with the parts have been... and yea. Thanks!

Excellent selection of parts. Nothing in the build I'd change.

I was thinking of getting some white leds to go around the tempered glass. It would illuminate the build and have it look whiter.
  5. Apart from the LED bling I'd consider swapping the SSD for a faster, but maybe smaller NVMe PCI-E drive, or going for a smaller SSD and setting some cash aside towards a GTX1080, the '1070 is good at 1080 but with 144Hz available why settle for cotton when you can have silk?

That's a good idea. You should go for it.

that sounds like a good idea .. i was thinking of case fans to help keep the temperature of your pc lower as well as for the colour . the corsair AF 140 and corsair AF 120 fans are great fans imo.

An SSD like the 850 EVO and an NVMe drive like the 960 arent that different in boot times, loading times etc. Sure the NVMe is faster but mostly on paper. In a real test you wont see a difference. Since I want to boot games off of my ssd and keep some files on it I would like to have a bigger ssd... Right now for my budget and the newer games a 1070 is more than enough.

I know this is very dumb, but I can't tell what size my case is... I need to make sure I have the right size led strip otherwise it would be dumb to even buy led strips.

Thanks for the help! The build should look amazing! I was thinking... Do I need case fans? I mean my gpu has 3 fans that are huge, my cpu fan is great and my case is pretty big and it shouldnt be that hot... I mean I can get some case fans but I'm not sure if I need them. Also do you know any 1080p 144hz black monitor that are under 300? I need to get one and I havent thought about that a lot... I could get one online or buy one from Best Buy or Walmart etc. They dont have the best stuff but I bet I can find a monitor etc. pretty cheap there, and in my color. I'm not sure what to do though.

You're welcome. Well basically you don't need case fans, temperatures will still be reasonable without them and the only reason to get them will be for the looks.
As for the monitor, you can find a nice 144hz 1080p monitor pretty easily in that price point. Here's my recommendation:

the cooler things are the longer the life span in theory plus it would add to the aesthetics of the build . they aren't needed because the case does come with a rear exhaust fan not sure about a front intake but whilst adequate they maybe slightly noisy.. (i haven't used this case so i cannot say 100% that they are noisy!)

Arent you just you know... getting cheaper, less performing parts... I mean I have a MAX budget of 1580 on the build... why would I need to save that much cash on a pc and have less performing part when I want it to be more performing...
  19. Great gpu but just temper your expectations a bit on actually hitting 144fps in something like BF1. You'll hit that from time to time on high but average will be lower than that.

    Happy gaming!
