Is my PSU powerful enough for my graphics card?

Hello!
So I'm buying a new video card XFX AMD RX480 8GB and I want to know if my PSU is strong enough our it needs to be more powerful. My current PSU has 500W. If I need a new one any suggestions?
(I've i5 4440 3.1 GHz if that changes anything)
I've got the FSP HEXA SERIES HE-500

It's alright. Not in my list of recommendations, but it'll do the job.

I don't actually have a list of recommendations for you. :D

I recommend specific units based on the needs of a user's build, rather than just giving them a list of "great units".

For instance, the Tom's Hardware PSU Tier List is a great place to start in terms of unit quality, but it doesn't give you specific information about each unit.

It will tell you that the Cooler Master V series is Tier 1 and the original Corsair RM series is Tier 2 (it has okay-ish caps in it). What it won't tell you is that the Cooler Master V series will struggle to remain quiet when put in a case that puts the power supply up top where it shares airflow with other heat producing components. In that case, the Corsair RM series would be quieter.
