Would a f3Khr motherboard fit inside a Thermaltake Core V1 Extreme Mini ITX Cube Chassis?

Hello
I was wondering if the F3KHR motherboard would fit inside the above named chasis. The motherboard is currently situated inside a dell optiplex 9010 sff.

Thanks!

  1. You'll have to measure the dell board as it may not be standard sized board, OEMs like to do that. But a standard ITX board is 6.7" by 6.7" or 170mm by 170mm. If the dell board matches that it will probably work.

According to google the size is 27.9 x 22.9 x 7.6 cm. Would that work?

No at that size it sounds like you have something closer to ATX size. The measurements are not standard though, I strongly suspect you have a non standard sized board. So the chances of it fitting in another case correctly is probably slim to none.

    ATX 305x244mm
    mATX 244x244mm
    mITX 170x170mm

I actually have the exact model as this one- http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2630283/tower-transfer-motherboard.html

According to them, it will fit in the named case (corsair 500R). So should I trust that and buy the said case?
  5. Hrm he's just saying it "should" fit based on total size, which is true. Problem is with custom motherboards the mounts holes can also be in nonstandard positions.

I would try private messaging the guy who started that thread, coletrainexpress, and ask him what he ended up doing. If he says that 500R worked then you'll have your answer.
