Solved

I play games(such as FPS games;Rainbow Six Siege,Overwatch,CounterStrike) and I get random spikes for my ping/latency.Help?

I'm having issue's with my internet while gaming. It stays at around 50-60ms ping/latency and shoots to 110-130ms ping/latency. This rinses and repeats every 3-5 seconds and ruins my experience. This issue has been ongoing for the past 4-5 days. I've tried resetting and restarting my router and restarting my PC but nothing seems to work. I've also tried pinging towards websites(google.com ,yahoo.com) using "CMD" which shows some spikes in the ping. Ranging from 74ms normally to 571ms which is irregular.

My PC is a Acer Predator G3

IN ADVANCED IM SORRY IF THIS IS A WRONG THREAD. FIRST TIME POSTING ON THE SITE!

You posted this in the wireless forum so I assume you are using wireless.

To be rather blunt but why would you not expect it to run that way sometime. Every place you look you see people say do not play online games on wireless. What you are seeing is exactly why it is not recommended to run wireless. It may work one minute and not the next. There are many things that affect wireless performance many of which are completely out of your control...the most common being a neighbor got a new wireless router.
