computer crashes (BSOD) with different error codes when more than 2 sticks of ram are installed

i recently bought a new set of ram (2x4GB) that is identical to the set i already have installed but now my computer randomly restarts with a blue screen and different error codes each time. it runs fine if i only have 2 sticks in but if i put a 3rd or 4th in it crashes. i have tried every stick of ram in every slot and every possible combination. i have gotten my computer to run on each stick of ram so it doesnt seem like they are faulty. i am using an ASRock H170 Fatal1ty LGA1151 motherboard with an intel core i5 6400 Skylake 2.7GHz CPU and the ram is Kingston hyperx fury black c14 2133MHz.

  1. bump your memory voltage up 0.05 volts first if that don't do it you might need to bump the MC voltage a bit and check the secondary memory timings.
  2. i have just put the ram voltage up by 0.05, it hasnt crashed yet but i ran memtest86 and it is still coming up with errors. do you know how much i can put the voltage up by before it starts doing damage?
  3. okay it has crashed again now but i think it lasted longer than it usually does
  4. Add 0.005 volts to the memory controller.
  5. i have looked through all the UEFI settings but i cant see any about a memory controller. can you seethe setting you mean here?https://imageshack.com/a/Xiil/1
  6. to anyone having similar issues i resolved this by reinstalling the last bios update. my version had become corrupted somehow but since reinstalling it i have had no issues
