Build me a PC to play Overwatch

Hi all,

My budget is £400 (about 500$ max) hoping the lovely people at tomshardware can craft me a budget rig now that can run Overwatch 60fps 1080p on mid settings. I will have enough money around 5 months time for significant upgrades so I'd like to semi future proof it now. For example I don't mind spending more money on a decent CPU now as I can significantly upgrade GPU in a few months time. Intel would be preferable, UK sites for parts please and £400 is the max I can afford at the moment.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

  1. Do you need an OS? Monitor? Storage? Mouse/keyboard/peripherals?

Will need an OS and minimal storage to get started, say 250-500gb, again this can be upgraded in a few months. The rest is all good

Will be a push to get a good gaming system with OS for £400, but something like this should let you play games at reasonable settings..

I wouldn't really recommend an FX system as it isn't that upgradeable, but it's the best you'll get for the money. A far, far more upgradeable system would be something like this..

Well I can do without the OS if it will improve the hardware but thanks for the response
  5. See my edited post above. The second list could be upgraded all the way to an i7 and any GPU on the market. Edit the part list and see what you come up with.
  6. thats perfect, thanks!
  7. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fTQ9RG this pc can run overwatch at maybe 70-90 fps and the specs r pretty decent nothing amazing and going with the Intel route not the AMD route (Intel i3 processor is better than FX 6300)
