AMD Duron - Best Thermal Paste Method?

Hello, I'm planning on building on Windows 2000 machine (Don't ask me to use a Virtual Machine).

I need help with the CPU thermal paste method. What method is best for a AMD Duron?
I know Pea is considered the best but I wanna know if you should use something different for a Duron.

Thank you.

Really going heavy duty there .... Circa 2004 CPU .... Since the pictures don't show a heat spreader on those, I would probably use WAY less. Something that small I would probably use a TINY amount and smear it with a disposable rubber glove. That way you have a visual indication. You can always put a tiny more if the first bit was too small.
  2. It literally just needs a drop on the center chip on the CPU. Kanewolf's suggestion is exactly what I would do (and did in the era) as well.

Thank you very much. I will do that when I get my thermal paste.
