Help with PCIE Slots

So I'm getting the ASRock H110M-HDS Motherboard and it says it has a PCIE 3.0 x16 slot but in parentheses it says: PCIE: 2.0 x16 mode. What does this mean?

    It has 2 PCIe slots,
    1 x PCI Express 2.0 x1 Slot. (listed as PCIE1).
1 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 Slot (listed as PCIE2 in specs and manual (page 17)).
In parantheses it says : (PCIE2: x16 mode)* , which just refers to PCIe 3.0 x 16 slot.

I get that, but how come it refers to PCIE3 as PCIe2? I'm just confused about that. I'm getting a PCIE 3.0 graphics card and I dont want there to be bottlenecks or issues.
  3. ASRock named the slots with PCIE1 and PCIE2, it's just a name, it does not not refers to a standard/mode. Don't get confused, it should work as PCIE 3.0 and there won't be any bottleneck on GPU.
