Built my first PC, worked for a day and then the next it boots up and shuts down after 3 secs.

I built my first PC recently, I had windows installed and the drivers, the day after It booted up and I started personalizing my new PC the computer shuts down after 3 seconds. I would turn it on, my LED fans would start spinning and then it shuts down after 3 seconds. I did accidently touch the stock cpu fan while it was spinning but I did not see any damage, it kept spinning and no fins came off. Can someone please help? This is my first PC build and I am trying to figure out how to do this myself!

Just go and reseat your RAM and graphics card. They may have not been fitted correctly but worked for a short while anyway. And go over all cables connected to the motherboard, 1 or 2 may have come lose though that should never happen unless they weren't correctly inserted either.

I am at school right now but when I get home I will try that, thanks.
  3. I came back home and it worked perfectly fine without removing anything, thanks anyways!

That's good. Could have just been a dodgy boot, it happens...
