increase bus interface on Radeon R7 M440 from 3.0x4 to 3.0x8

hi guys.

i have bought a HP notebook with Graphics card radeon R7 M440 the problem is that in the specification of the graphics card's bus interface is : PCIe 3.0 x8 but it is actualy Bus Interface: PCIe 3.0 x4 so the performance is soo weak and lower than i expected

so can someone help me increase it from x4 to x8 in details pls :D

  1. Are you checking that while the card is busy? If not it probably scales back the bus width to save power (and heat).
  2. As above, your interface will change when no load is on the card. My card only runs at Gen 1.1 until a load comes on, and then it's 3.0

    Easiest way to know is to install something like GPU Z https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ and where it says interface, you can run the render test and see what it's true interface is.

    I hate to say this, but maybe you're already getting the maximum from it. From what I can tell, the R7 m440 is an enter-level GPU for laptops, it's not designed for rendering challenging graphics.
