HDD Not showing in Disk Management or Device Manager but is working (Win Serv 2008R2)

So I have a 2TB HDD that I used to use in a FreeNAS box for shares currently in Windows Server 2008R2. I have formatted the disk into NTFS using Ubuntu, and then the gparted live boot. But no matter what I do, I can't get the disk to show in either disk management or device manager. I can use the disk no problem in any other OS, and the disk showed during the OS installation but now I literally can't access it unless I boot into Linux.

Any help would be much appreciated!

  1. Probably problems with sata controller drivers.
Any yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?

Nope. The only yellow exclamation is for an old video card that I haven't installed the driver for yet.
  3. Hardware specs of your PC (motherboard model at least)?

    Are chipset drivers installed?
