Will using a sound card in a pcie x16 slot slow down my graphics card?

I have a MSI Z79 PC Mate Motherboard that has a PCI-e 3.0 Slot that holds my GTX 1070.
I want to buy a Sound Blaster Audigy PCIe Sound card for 7.1 Surround sound but my pcie x1 slots are covered by my massive Graphics card. If i install the new Sound card in the Pci-e x16 2.0 will it Limit my graphics card in terms of perfomance?

This is the sound card i plan on buying.

It's a 1x card thus will only use 1x bandwidth. Now no card really uses the full bandwidth of an x16 slot so no worries.
  2. So the sound card will fit in the PCI-e x16 slot?
Sorry if thats a stupid question.

  4. It will, but why??
You can run it in an x1 slot with no bottleneck?
  5. Sure but as stated the lanes used will be taken. It probably will not matter. Only way I could see is a 6800k with 3 X Titans.
