Computer randomly crashing after getting new GTX 1070 graphics card

I just got a new graphics card and it worked fine for a week and then randomly started giving me black screens, freezing and crashing and sometimes when i even try to restart my computer it says "it looks like windows didn't load properly" this only happened after i got my new graphics card!

  1. Download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and delete all traces of graphic drivers from your PC using the software. Then download and install fresh drivers from the Nvidia website. Let us know how you get on.

    i can't download the new drivers because it crashes through the download of the new one. ._.

  4. Ok so I got the newest drivers and everything and it's still freezing and crashing and black screening. If you are wondering all my specs should be able to run this card trust me I checked them but i still don't know what's going on.

    So its previously working without 1070?
  6. Could be PSU or motherboard, either PSU not supply enough power or motherboard PCIe slot is not deliver enough power. You can test power output using digital multi tester.
