  1. You can't upgrade to this processor with the same motherboard, the CPU socket is different for both of these. If you were to upgrade, you would need an AM3+ compatible motherboard.
  2. kr2 could you sugest one

What country do you live in and I will find a good motherboard for you :)
  4. Can you give is your full system info.
  5. kr2 I wil order from amazon or ebay so you can probably suggest any motherboard
  6. sure what information do you need?
  7. so instead of getting the AMD FX 8350 I buy this motherboard?
  8. No, you need to change your motherboard either way if you wish to get an AMD FX 8350. The FX 8350 is not compatible with the motherboard you have currently.

  10. You will need both new motherboard and CPU if you want to do upgrade. So that means that you will need to open case and swap the parts with the new ones.
Can you tell us bit more about your current setup, like CPU, Mobo , RAM, GPU, PSU etc...
  11. I'm sorry I sound stupid I am trying to get started with gaming computers, so you are telling me I buy the AMD FX 8350 and the motherboard and replace the APU by them?
  12. Sorry to say this but if you want to do upgrade you will also need to buy new graphic card since now you are using one inside your CPU (APU) and FX 8350 is without integrated graphics so that will put even more $$ on upgrade.
  13. I was goin to buy a nvidia GTX 970 gaming 4gb is that enough and also could you answer to my previous question:

Yes, you will replace APU with new mobo and CPU.
If you plan to do those all upgrades i suggest you switch to Intel since it offers much better performance than AMD atm.
Something like i5 6500 16 or 8 GB of DDR4 RAM b150 motherboard and GTX 970 will be much better than FX 8350.
You can link me here shop from where you want to buy your parts and budget and i can pick you stuff for that.
  15. Where you need a motherboard as well DO NOT go with AMD, their current offerings are not the best price to performance especially for gaming. Also the MSI 970A-G43 is a very poor choice due to very poor thermal and power design it is likely to have problems with a 125w octo core cpu.

If you are wanting to game an i3 6100 would be a better budget option. It outperforms the 8350 in many games and the i3 has a viable upgrade path.
  16. I am going to buy everything from amazon(UK) thank you so so much!

  24. just a question what do I do with the MOBO my computer currently has?
  25. With the current mobo, CPU and RAM you can sell them or keep it for 2nd system for someone in your family or household.
