PC randomly stopped displaying. There is display output but only a black screen.

So last night I moved my PC into the lounge to use as a media centre and when I went to boot up after moving it back to my room this morning I'm getting issues.
The PC boots, all my fans are spinning and it doesn't shut off. It is sending a display signal to my monitor because when I boot it the 'no signal' indication on the monitor disappears. The issue is that it is only displaying a black screen.
I've tried resetting the CMOS and reseating the gpu which have done nothing and I can't think of what else to try. I'm thinking (but praying it isn't) an issue with my GPU but since my MoBo has no display ports I can't even check if it posts without the GPU. Anyone had this issue or know what could be causing it?
It was working fine yesterday and I was very careful not to bang it when I was moving it.

  1. Have you tried a different video cable?

    Yeah tried that, didn't work.
  3. On one of the boots I got this display. I'm thinking it's a bad GPU, but it makes no sense because the PC powered down fine last night.

  4. Might be a PSU going weak, could be a bad video cable
