Yes, but that power supply isn't very good.
    What are your specs?
    Are you building new?
If so give me a budget and i'll put something together.
  2. In terms of form factor, YES it is a compatible ATX PSU.
In terms of suitability, you would have to list your system specs.
  3. My Budget is $1100 AUD for the PC and I'm only purchasing from umart in Logan because of shipping prices (my only choice for internet connection is a wireless adapter)(I am also new to PC building).

    Intel Core i5 6600
    Asus H110M-K mATX
    G.Skill 8G (1x8G) F4-2133C15S-8GNT
EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming 3GB Video Card
Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA3 HDD 64M Caviar Blue WD10EZEX
    TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 - 450Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter
    SilverStone ST40F-ES230 Essential 230V 400W PSU 80+

Yes the SilverStone ST40F-ES230 Essential is OK for your setup. Not the best PSU but if your on a budget then UMART are very competitive and at $48 it is very good.
I get all my kit too from UMART at Southport.
  5. Is the Cougar STE400 any decent to replace it? Or is it not compatible?
  6. I'll post a list in a bit.

I would not trust this one. It doesn't even have a bronze certification.
Realize this, The PSU is the lifeblood of your system and not to be underestimated.
You can get by with a cheap PSU in many cases however, For safety, Its when you put your system under load where it counts most and an efficient unit of the correct Wattage will last a lot longer especially when playing intensive games.
A poor quality unit with low efficiency can damage your MB, CPU and components, if it fails.
Chugalug has recommended an excellent PSU and well worth the investment.
Read my PSU fact sheet in my signature.
