  1. It's a nice build.
    Personally I'd go with a B150/H170 board
    But I guess it's a bundle Cpu+Board+Ram?
It looks good, everything in place!

If you got 70$ left go for a 200-400GB ssd by crucial or Samsung for your OS + main applications alongside the HDD.
  2. Two changes:

    1. Change the RX 480 to a GTX 1060 SC Gaming from EVGA, better performance for the same price.
    2. Change the PSU to a RM550X or EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W.
  3. Go for 16 gigs of ram and add an SSD(Crucial MX300 275GB).
  4. Guys i have a limited budget. I didn't go for the GTX 1060 because i wanted something futureproof and after many researchs the RX480 Is better for the future and doing well for now (i know the GTX 1060 beats the RX 480 on DX11). I'm going to overclock it so i can get a similar performance. For the SSD i'll add add it after. RAM aswell
  5. Why would he go for 650W PSU that costs nearly double for a locked 6500 and a 1060/Rx480?
That's just overkill. Power draw won't be over 300W with this system and the new CXM 450 is a decent unit.

If the 1060 price is indeed identical go for the 1060
  6. i already bought the RX480 :( But it's good ? is it good ?

No worries. Both the 480 and 1060 are excellent 1080p cards, and the RX shows more promise on DX12.

The RX 480 is a very good card. But personally, I would've gone with the Sapphire NITRO+ version. Sapphire is well known to make some of the best AMD cards on the market. Other than that, very good build as far as I can tell. I have a similar build to yours in terms of performance (minus my graphics card which I am upgrading soon) and it works very well.
  9. I prefered Asus Strix just because of the 3 FANS and RGB and because of the price (264.99$) .
    Thanks guys so much

While adding an SSD later is definitely an option, i strongly suggest that you get 16 giogs of ram to begin with as mixing RAM DIMMs can be tricky and may result in single channel operation even with the same model.

Well said, I would definitely go with a 2x8gb from Corsair or something and spring that little extra money. You can find good DDR4-2133 2x8gb memory for only about $70 too.
  12. Guys, what do you think if i replaced the i5-6500 with an i5-6600 ? will it be a good choice ?

Not worth it, the extra 100 MHz is not worth 15 dollars.
  14. Thanks for a 55$ Can i get a better PSU? Cuz i have a 10$ remaining in my pocket that i should add, and i've bought all the components but not CPU + PSU

No need. That CXM is sufficient.

I doubt you will need a better PSU but if you want to get a better one in order to future-proof your build for future upgrades, go for it.
  17. Okay, i'll buy a 10$ steam card with it

Good choice! Civ VI just came out, so maybe you can put that $10 towards that.

Gosh, I want Civ VI so bad but I just blew $300+ on a 360mm custom watercool loop.

Side note, you could give me the $10. That's how much more I need for Civ VI
