Best graphic card with only 1x 6+2 pin additional power input

hi all

I'm planning on upgrading my gpu to get the best graphics card for my setup.

i5 2500k
BIOSTAR Group H61MGC
8,00GB Kingston 1600mhz

psu has single 6+2 pci e connector
550wat

    wont it bottleneck ? cpu is i5 2500k
  3. Hello... Don't know... haven't got mine yet to test one... B D Typically I upgrade 3 GPU's per MB/CPU upgrade... It looks pretty tempting to buy one for one of my Systems. There will always be a component that is slower than the other in a system... But having a powerful GPU, like these model seem to be... will allow me to use some higher graphic settings than I can use now with a GTX760. B /

    If that power supply is decent quality it'll run most GTX1070 cards-they usually need a single 8 pin connector-but it's likely to be held back a little by the current CPU/MB/RAM.
    What is more likely to hold a big card like the '1070 back is the display, though, if you're using a single 60Hz 1080 monitor a GTX1060 is a fine choice, or you can opt for a RX480 if you fancy a little more VRAM on the card at the expense of it running a little slower.
