Can I upgrade my GPU from GTS 450 to AMD RX 460 on an old motherboard?

My current PC:
Intel Core i7 950
8GB DDR3 @1333MHz
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 1GB

So if I upgrade the GPU to AMD Radeon RX 460 will it run on my motherboard and will it bottleneck or will there be slightest improvement?
This is the one I prefer to buy.

    It'll fit your motherboard, yes.
You'll definitely notice a huge performance increase.

I don't think it will bottleneck unless you're planning on playing Just Cause 3, as that game and games like it are wildly CPU intensive.
  2. Thanks.
