WIFI screwed up because of Windows 10 Anniversary Edition

Ok so this is the 2nd time I've had this issue. My wifi starts off working normally but whenever it stops updating something or switches to update something else my mbps goes from 15 to 2. The first time I had this issue it took me weeks of working on optimal settings on my network card (Realtek RTL8192CE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC) and then suddenly a new setting popped up called Wifi Config out of no where and it was set to performace. I switched it to WIFI and my internet was perfect. Now I have updated to Windows 10 anniversary editon and my wifi has once again gone weird. I have looked through the settings trying to optimize them once again but I cannot find wifi config any more. I have tried rolling back to Windows 10, nothing, I cant delete drivers because the cd that came with the card doesnt work properly. So I came here as a last resort because I am at a total loss

(any need of further information please ask in comments I really need this fixed)

More about wifi screwed windows anniversary edition
  1. Are there any new drivers to download straight from the manufacturer? I could see how the anniversary update can mess with drivers. A lot changed with this. There is a setting to prevent Windows from updating drivers, though that doesn't help you at the moment.
  2. The drivers I have are old but I have no way of getting new drivers because rosewill has seemed to have broken their driver installer

I have updated the drivers 3 times, but nothing has changed. Wifi config has yet to come back. is there anything else I can try to do. I was wondering when I first installed windows 10 onto my PC it asked if I wanted better performance. (i believe) I was wondering if that could be the issue. Is there any way of reverting that setting after installation
  4. Sorry for late reply, any changes with settings since last post?

After going around the wifi settings I found that the network was not correctly installed, so I just rolled back to windows 10 and it seems to have been working fine. Thanks for helping me though, it might be because they have not updated drivets but I think I'm ok for the time being. Thanks for trying to help me
  6. Glad you found a way to get things working, sorry I wasn't really much help. Haven't been on the forums this week. It could be that whatever drivers or settings are being installed with Win 10 Anniversary update are conflicting w/ your Wifi Adapter.
