Hardware reserved memory drastically increased

SOLVED: Had to restart my PC with a single RAM stick, then two, then four. Needed to make sure they were in dual channel memory.

Hello,

I've been using my PC just fine ever since I got it, until now.
When I got it, and up to now, I've had 8 GB (6.9 GB usable). Now I discovered that I have 8 GB (3.42 GB usable).
Apparently, I have 4.6 GB hardware reserved memory now.
Here's a screenshot

There are two things that happened that could have caused this:
Either the recent W10 anniversary update, which I installed last night;
Or the fact that I literally just took my PC apart and cleaned it.

I've made sure that all the wiring is properly connected.
I've tried shifting the RAM cartridges between slots, to no avail.

Details:
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Mother Board: ASRock FM2A88X Extreme6+
CPU: AMD A10-7850K (integrated GPU disabled)
GPU: XFX HD 7970
RAM: 4 x 2GB Kingston HyperX Blu (DDR3; 1600 MHz)

I'm looking forward to any (preferably helpful) replies.
Thanks for reading.

  1. Are you sure, you have 64bit version of windows 10?
Any limitations set in msconfig/boot/advanced options ?

    Yes, I am a 100% certain I am using a 64 bit OS.
    I triple checked it.

Here is a screenshot of advanced boot options.

Apparently, I was running 4 properly positioned RAM sticks in single channel memory?!

Anyway, restarted with a single stick, then two, then all four. Works fine now.
6.9 GB available, 1.1 GB hardware reserved.

    Thanks for trying :)
