PC doesn't boot for a while after i leave it 'turned off' for a few hours. BIOS resets.

My PC does not boot up sometimes after i leave it off for a while (CPU fan spins slowly but no lights on Keyboard and Mouse), but after i wait for 30 minutes or so, it works perfectly. I just had my motherboard repaired so its quite discomforting to be experiencing such an issue. I have tried replacing the GPU, RAM and the CMOS Battery but it didn't fix the problem. Also, every time it boots up, the BIOS gets reset.

Would like some help with this, thanks. :)

My PC Specs:

AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz
GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P
Kingston HyperX FURY Memory - 8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM
Nvidia Geforce GT 610 2GB DDR3
Cooler Master Thunder RS-500-ACAB-M3 500W SMPS

I am not sure but i think it was something related to the board's northbridge.
  3. All you can do is to check if battery is seated properly, contacts good and clean. Also check CMOS/BIOS reset contacts. If there are 3, make sure the bit that connects two is in the right place. If only 2 than nothing should be on it.

Lithium batteries can go bad. Replace the battery.
