  1. No of course not. GPU boost 2.0 will dynamically raise the clocks of the gpu for best performance if temps allow automatically. Monitor your temps if its not overheating running it in OC mode will not harm it at all, if it was my card I would be manually overcloking it a lot higher than that.
  2. my temps are around 60-62 degree
  3. so because of gpu boost 2.0 i get much higher clock with out overclocking then gigabyte mentioned out of the box?

Correct. GPU boost almost ALWAYS boost higher than factory stated boost. The boost that factory states is more like a absolute minimum the card should be boosting.

For example. MSI states my GTX 970 boost to 1242, but mine boost all the way up to 1354.
  5. Yes. GPU boost will reach different clocks in different cards its based on the silicon lottery, basically how well built your gpu core was in the factory. GPU boost automatically adjusts voltages, clocks, and some other stuff to achieve the best performance at any given time. And 60c is perfect for that card it can safely run in the upper 80s.
  6. alright then so it can be no harm if u put it in the OC mode it gives a 38 mhz extra on the gpu cuz i dont wanna break the beast haha

Your not going to break the card with any type of software overclock, it wont allow you to the voltages on the stock bios will not allow themselves to go so high that the card could get damaged. Overclocking is very misunderstood its not like it was years ago, an overclock MUCH higher than that very small 38mhz OC mode adds would not damage the card.
  8. oke thanks alot it helped me alot:)
