Will I be able to overclock the i7-6800k to 4ghz?

Hi, I'm going to be getting a 6800k and a h115i, will I be able to get a stable overclock of 4ghz or will I need a custom water loop for that?
Thanks!

thanks for the response! From what I've read, AIO water coolers are basically the same as high end air coolers, what's the highest overclock you think I could theoretically get with a h115I?
    thanks!
  3. It would depend on the individual CPU you get The H115i is a good 280, it will prob be fine to as high as the CPU can go whether you get a 'bad' 6800K that doesn't OC well or a silicon lottery 6800K. All CPU's in a given model will differ slightly, i.e. Asus did some testing with 4770Ks awhile back and had some interesting results:

    Awesome, thanks!
One more queston, do you suggest another AIO liquid cooler? Im using the enthoo luxe which can take up to a 420 mm radiator (140 tri radiator) keep in mind I can't afford a custom loop
    Thanks again!
  5. The H115i is a good one, Swiftech 240 is another, the Lepa EXllusion 240 is another (am testing one now on my Z170 (in sig)
