What PSU are you useing Now? And where do you live so we can suggest the right money?
  2. You will need to stretch the budget to get a decent PSU to run a 970.

I may just buy a 970 used off ebay or refurbished for around 300 compared to the 330 on amazon and buy a Evga SuperNova G2 550. That power supply is very good right?
  8. Best answer
Yup, the G2 line is one of the best.
If you can get your hands on a 650w it'll leave you with some decent headroom for CPU and graphics card overclocking, def worth the extra money.
  9. Yes the Seasonic is quite good.
  10. Thanks for your input

The Seasonic that SR71 has posted is a far, far, better unit and in your price bracket. Worth the expense. The PSU is not the place to 'go cheap' on a PC. Investing in an inexpensive and/or lower quality psu can turn your $300 GPU investment into a brick.
