Will the EVGA 600W Bronze Cert. work for a gtx 960 ssc 4gb model?

I am buying a new graphics card and have decided to go with the evga gtx 960 Super Superclocked model. The power supply I have now is not enough. It is a 320w. If that would be enough (its not) I wouldn't have an 8pin connector anyways. I am wanting to make sure it will work. Another question is the power supply like a one fits all or should do some measuring. My computer is REALLY old that is why I am upgrading. It is an HP compaq 6000 microtower. It was made back in 2009.

  1. It's not a great PSU in terms of quality , but can easily power a 960.

You can easily just go with the 500B.
  2. I though the evga psu were pretty good quality
  3. Not the low end HEC models , the higher quality models are great quality , GS or G2.
  4. The EVGA 500B should be fine for your setup , the 960 is a low power card.
  5. The 600B isn't all too bad, but when you can spend another $5 or so for a Seasonic S12ii 520W or another better unit the answer is clear.
  6. Do you guys have a psu to reccomend me?
im looking for a 500-600w and 40-50 bucks.
