    Hey there, abhijitgogoi992.

I'm really sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your drive. Have you experienced any issues with it prior to this problem? Any unusual sounds/noises coming from the drive, slow read/write speed, freezing/hanging your system, etc?

Would you please check if the drive is recognized in Disk Management and post a screenshot of what you see there (you can use imgur.com to upload the image)? Here's how to open it: How to access Disk Management in Windows to manage hard drives.
Other than that you should try the drive with a different USB cables (preferably shorter than 12") and a different computer, to see if the same thing happens. If that doesn't work, you could try accessing the HDD via Ubuntu Live USB/DVD, to see if the drive is properly recognized and if you can get to your files. Data recovery software is also an option: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html & http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file-recovery-programs.htm. And last, but not least, if your data is really important, perhaps you might go for a professional solution: WD Data Recovery Partners.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.
